Poltauvskyl Earns Dual Golds In Teen Expert Divisions
Dmitryi Poltauvskyi went undefeated in five matches to take gold in both Gi and No-Gi Teens Expert Middleweight divisions at the N.A.G.A. North American Championships last weekend in New Jersey. The 16-year-old Conrad Weiser sophomore has trained in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu just three years at Berks County BJJ in Sinking Spring. The BJJ blue belt had three matches in the Gi division and two matches in the No-Gi division winning each match via points.

Northeast MMA presents Cage Fight 2 on Friday, November 27, at the Lackawanna College Student Union Center in Scranton. The highly-anticipated 14 Pro/Am fight card will feature a Battle of Pennsylvania Featherweights when Jim Hettes of Swoyersville Submission Wrestling in Swoyersville and Justin Haas of Hanover Academy of MMA in Hanover face off. Spencer Paige of CNY MMA in New York returns to Scranton in a lightweight main event fight. Fighters from Balance Combat, Gracie NEPA, Rat Pack Fighting Systems and TriState MMA complete the card.
